Continous Improvement Engineer
Base Salary: $80,000 to $110,000
Location: York & Lancaster, PA
A rapidly growing manufacturing organization is embarking on a Lean transformation and seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive structured change, standardization, and operational excellence.
This role is instrumental in shaping a culture where continuous improvement is the foundation of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Lean transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, 5S audits, and Value Stream Mapping to identify and eliminate waste.
- Mentor and train teams on Lean methodologies to ensure long-term adoption.
- Utilize DMAIC, PDCA, and Root Cause Analysis to analyze operations and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute continuous improvement strategies aligned with company goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement process improvements that enhance operations and customer satisfaction.
- Track and analyze KPIs and performance metrics to measure progress and drive ongoing enhancements.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistency and sustainability.
- Conduct regular assessments of Lean initiatives to refine strategies and ensure scalability.
- Work closely with senior leadership to integrate Lean principles into strategic planning and decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt or higher) preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement, preferably in manufacturing or operations.
- Proven expertise in Lean tools & techniques: Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Experience leading successful Lean transformation initiatives with measurable results.
