Warehouse Analyst

Base Salary: $70,000 to $85,000 plus annual bonus

Location: Nashville, TN


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Analyst is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy across both internal and external warehouses, managing cycle counts, analyzing sales data for min-max replenishments, and supporting logistics operations. This role requires strong ERP and Excel proficiency, an analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate with 3PL providers and internal teams to optimize inventory control processes.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inventory & Cycle Counting:

  • Conduct in-house cycle counts and update the ERP system with accurate inventory levels.
  • Manage and reconcile inventory at fee warehouses, ensuring system accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
  • Plan and oversee the annual physical inventory process.

Inventory Planning & Replenishment:

  • Monitor min-max replenishment levels and adjust inventory as needed.
  • Analyze sales data to make inventory adjustments and replenishment decisions.
  • Generate and manage weekly transfer orders to maintain proper stock levels.
  • Review lost sales data and make necessary inventory adjustments.
  • Track and adjust minimum/maximum stock levels in fee warehouses to prevent shortages.

Logistics & Freight Support:

  • Assist in reviewing freight invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with 3PL providers to handle freight claims and manage inventory movement.
  • Generate Canadian customs invoices and border passes as required.
  • Maintain communication with logistics partners to support efficient distribution operations.

Data & System Management:

  • Maintain and update inventory records within the ERP system to reflect real-time inventory levels.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor negative inventory balances and execute corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all inventory-related transactions.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations within a distribution center, 3PL environment, or manufacturing warehouse.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query)
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles, cycle counting methodologies, and loss prevention strategies.
  • Understanding of min-max replenishment principles and inventory planning.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in a warehouse environment as needed.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Onsite, Monday–Friday, with a combination of office and warehouse environments.
  • May Involve the use of protective equipment and clothing for handling parts.
