Inside Sales Representative

Salary: Up to $60,000 plus bonuses

Location: W Chicago Suburbs


Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative with experience using Salesforce to manage leads, track sales activity, and drive revenue growth. This role involves prospecting, qualifying leads, managing customer accounts, and closing sales through phone, email, and virtual meetings. The ideal candidate is results-driven, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage leads, track sales activity, and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to generate new business opportunities.
  • Qualify inbound leads and determine customer needs, budget, and decision-making process.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective and existing customers through phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, quotes, and proposals to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the outside sales team, marketing, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to position products/services effectively.
  • Handle objections and negotiate pricing to close deals efficiently.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to provide expert guidance to customers.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, including lead management, reporting, and pipeline tracking.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Experience with cold calling, prospecting, and handling objections.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented sales environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or other sales enablement tools.
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and a drive to exceed sales goals.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing, SaaS, industrial sales, or technology sales.
  • Familiarity with automation tools, email sequencing, and lead generation strategies.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies such as SPIN, Challenger Sales, or Sandler Training.
