Electrical Maintenance Manager
Base Salary: $100,000 to $120,000
Location: Myrtle Beach, SC
Maintenance Controls Manager to oversee and enhance equipment reliability and maintenance operations in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in maintenance engineering, process automation, and reliability programs while demonstrating leadership in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain a World-Class Safety Program with a focus on improving safety performance.
- Develop and implement maintenance and reliability programs to support plant objectives.
- Improve equipment reliability to increase uptime and reduce operational costs.
- Track and analyze reliability metrics (TBC, costs, and efficiency).
- Apply preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance strategies to optimize plant performance.
- Coordinate with engineers, maintenance teams, and operators to implement process improvements.
- Troubleshoot and respond to equipment performance issues as needed.
- Maintain documentation integrity, including drawings, specifications, programs, and compliance records.
- Ensure adherence to ISO system requirements and regulatory compliance.

- Proven ability to develop and execute reliability-focused maintenance programs.
- Experience optimizing plant capacity and reducing costs through streamlined part/component design.
- Strong understanding of on-stream time impact on cost and productivity.
- Ability to apply Six Sigma tools to drive cost savings and operational improvements.
- Skilled in conducting cost-benefit analyses to prioritize maintenance initiatives.
Required Skills & Attributes:

- Technical expertise in maintenance engineering, reliability techniques, and process automation.
- In-depth understanding of PLCs, process control systems, and ladder logic programming.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CMMS, and Oracle.
- Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs (Siemens control systems experience is a plus).
- Ability to work collaboratively across maintenance and plant operations teams.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 5-7 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment with a focus on maintenance and controls.
- Experience in product/process development and facility management.
- Six Sigma certification is a plus.
